We're looking for a Head of External Communications to join AEG International's Communications team.
Working across AEG International's portfolio, with a particular focus on The O2, you'll develop and deliver external communications strategies that strengthen our reputation, raise the profile of our venues, businesses and leaders, and support our wider commercial goals.
Reporting to the VP of Communications, you'll play a key role in shaping AEG International's communications agenda, delivering strategic campaigns, managing reputation and issues, and bringing compelling stories to life across Europe and Asia Pacific.

- Shaping Our Story
- Develop and deliver external communications programmes that support AEG International's business priorities, reputation and commercial objectives.
- Drive strategic storytelling across our venues, partnerships, development projects and wider business initiatives.
- Raising Our Profile
- Shape executive profiling and thought leadership programmes that enhance the visibility of our leadership team.
- Develop communications plans for major announcements, investments, developments and business milestones.
- Building Relationships & Managing Reputation
- Provide strategic communications advice to senior leaders and support the management of reputational issues and media enquiries.
- Oversee proactive and reactive media relations, building strong relationships with journalists and securing impactful coverage.
- Supporting Commercial Growth & Impact
- Deliver communications activity for Global Partnerships, maximising the profile of partnership announcements and commercial successes.
- Oversee communications relating to sustainability, social impact and corporate responsibility initiatives.
- Managing People & Partnerships
- Provide leadership, coaching and development for the Communications & PR Manager.
- Manage agency relationships, budgets and external partners to ensure successful delivery against objectives.
What we're looking for
- Significant experience in corporate communications, public relations or reputation management.
- A proven track record of developing and delivering strategic communications programmes.
- Strong media relations experience with an established network of business, corporate and trade media contacts.
- Experience supporting senior executives and leadership teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing reputational issues and navigating complex communications challenges.
- The ability to balance multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing agencies, external suppliers and budgets.
