Do you have bar experience and like working in live events? Deliver unforgettable guest experiences at one of London's newest live event venues. As a Floor Manager at British Airways ARC, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences on event days. You'll oversee three bar areas, including the VIP Lounge, Box Bar (self‑service beer stations), cloakroom and merchandise points, ensuring everything runs smoothly and to the highest standards. You'll support front‑of‑house operations, support your teams, and make sure every guest receives outstanding service. This is a hands‑on role where you'll keep service flowing, solve problems quickly and help create a welcoming atmosphere across the venue.
What You’ll Do
- Service & Guest Experience: Help manage bar and guest‑facing teams during events, following ARC Bar Service SOPs. Ensure guests receive a consistent, high‑quality experience. Oversee opening/closing duties, event readiness and staff sign‑out.
- Team Support: Train, mentor and motivate bar team members to develop their knowledge and skills. Deliver clear pre‑ and post‑shift briefings.
- Standards & Compliance: Maintain excellent hygiene, safety and presentation standards across all areas. Keep cellars and back‑of‑house spaces clean, organised and safe. Change kegs/post‑mix/gas as needed and report equipment faults. Manage deliveries and support stock control processes, including stock rotation and stocktake prep.
- Point Of Sale: Ensure accurate till reconciliation and POS usage. Troubleshoot issues and elevate where needed. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of licensing laws (e.g. Think 25).
What We’re Looking For
- Strong bar experience, ideally in a venue or live events environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Confident managing people and motivating teams.
- Strong POS till experience and good accuracy.
- Self‑motivated, reliable and able to work independently.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Flexible and committed to regular shift work.
Working hours: This is a shift‑based role working evenings and weekends, normally from 5pm to 11pm, though some shifts can finish later and there are occasionally shifts during the day. You give your availability for the shifts you can work one month in advance. Once the monthly rota is confirmed you are expected to work those shifts. We ask that you are able to work regularly due to the nature of the role.
Where: You'll be based at the venue in Olympia, West London. You will need to be available to work evenings and weekends.
Key Dates: Interviews: late July/early August 2026 Start date: August 2026
