You’ll help expand AECOM’s Building Engineering capability and client portfolio. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li flexible work arrangements /li li up to 6 weeks additional annual leave /li li flex public holidays /li li continuous learning and professional development /li li study leave (paid) /li li global career opportunities /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Provide senior technical and design leadership across major Building Engineering projects with emphasis on quality, schedule and client outcomes /li li Lead project teams and ensure successful delivery of a portfolio of projects /li li Engage with clients to understand needs, build relationships and deliver practical engineering solutions /li li Lead design management, technical reviews and cross-disciplinary project delivery /li li Support business development through client engagement, proposals, tender interviews and presentations /li li Identify opportunities to grow services with existing and new clients across locations /li li Provide commercial oversight including budgets, pricing, contracts and project performance /li li Plan, lead and own commercial conversations and outcomes with key clients /li li Build and develop high-performing teams and facilitate technical development and career progression /li li Collaborate with senior leaders to support resource planning and growth of Building Engineering capability /li li Represent AECOM with clients, industry partners and the wider engineering community /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Tertiary qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering; Chartered Engineer and relevant registrations; ideally 20+ years in building services in Australia /li li Extensive building engineering experience with complex, multidisciplinary projects /li li Proven track record in senior technical, project or business leadership roles /li li Strong commercial understanding including budgets, programmes, contracts and financial performance /li li Experience in client engagement, commercial management, negotiations, and business development /li li Experience leading and developing high-performing project teams /li li Strong communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills with clients and senior stakeholders /li li Established network within the Australian building engineering and property market (highly regarded) /li /ul ul li strong communication /li li stakeholder management /li li negotiation /li li multidisciplinary building services design and delivery /li li design management and technical reviews /li li cross-disciplinary project delivery /li /ul
