Overview
In this role you lead the Highways & Complete Streets team within AECOM’s Transportation group, based in London or St Albans. You’ll drive client relationships, shape work-winning strategies, and oversee multi-disciplinary project delivery. You will mentor teams, collaborate across internal units, and promote thought leadership to raise the firm’s profile. Responsibilities
- Lead client relationship management and identify commercial opportunities in London and the Southeast
- Help win work via bids, tenders, and proposal development
- Drive thought leadership and visibility through social media and publicity channels
- Provide technical leadership across highways and complete streets projects and ensure high-quality deliverables
- Oversee project and programme delivery, ensuring compliance with standards, safety requirements, and AECOM procedures
- Manage resourcing and contribute to recruitment for local and wider teams
- Collaborate with internal teams across geographies and business lines
- Mentor staff, support professional development, and monitor team skills for best practices
Key requirements
- A relevant degree and Chartered status with a recognised professional institution or equivalent industry experience
