b Overview /b p As a Senior Water Resources Engineer, you will deliver complex drainage and flood projects for major infrastructure and development clients. You’ll shape design approaches, resolve hydraulic and hydrological challenges, and ensure compliant outcomes. You’ll design drainage solutions, stormwater plans, and hydraulic models while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Join a mission-driven firm delivering tangible infrastructure impact. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li relocation assistance /li li flexible work arrangements /li li hybrid work options /li li additional annual leave up to 6 weeks /li li volunteer leave /li li flex public holidays /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Technical delivery of drainage designs, stormwater management plans, and hydraulic assessments for local council clients and major infrastructure projects /li li Specialised input into hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using Civil3D, 12D, TUFLOW, DRAINS, URBS, RORB, XP-Rafts and WBNM /li li Develop practical and innovative solutions to drainage, flooding, and water quality challenges /li li Prepare high-quality technical and non-technical reports /li li Support project teams through technical guidance, mentoring, and quality assurance /li li Engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to provide technical advice and contribute to winning work /li li Ensure alignment with Australian standards and guidelines /li li Contribute to technical excellence initiatives and stay current with emerging tools and regulatory changes /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Proven Drainage/Flood Modelling industry experience (circa 5-15 years) /li li RPEQ or ability to apply for RPEQ preferred /li li Experience in planning, hydraulic assessment and design of stormwater and drainage networks, or hydrologic modelling/assessments /li li Proficient in Civil3D, 12D, TUFLOW or similar hydraulic modelling tools, URBS and/or XP-Rafts or similar hydrologic tools, QGIS and/or ArcGIS /li li Strong technical capability across underground and surface water drainage systems /li li Experience delivering major infrastructure projects in a consulting or multidisciplinary environment /li li Proven ability to provide technical leadership, design review and mentoring /li li Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with clients /li li Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery principles /li /ul ul li communication /li li stakeholder engagement /li li mentoring /li li Civil3D /li li 12D /li li TUFLOW /li /ul
