Senior Project Controls Consultant (Defence)

Start here. Grow here. At AECOM, we are currently recruiting for Senior Project Controls consultants to join our Glasgow office. You will be involved in a critical defence infrastructure project, including new build construction and civils infrastructure.

As part of the AECOM Integrated Programme Controls team, you will demonstrate experience in delivering PMO best practices on infrastructure projects and programmes. Your primary role will be managing and delivering Project and Programme controls, including budget management and cost forecasting. You will spend 3 days per week at our client site in Glasgow.

Responsibilities

• Establish and develop cost control and management systems
• Manage project budgets, including costs for labor, equipment, and materials
• Monitor and report on project costs and variances
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports and forecasts
• Support project decisions with data analysis and digital tools

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a multi-discipline project environment, preferably within Defence, Marine, or Port construction
• Knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts
• Strong organizational and management skills
• Experience with Primavera P6 and Power BI is preferred
• Professional project management qualification is desirable
