Job Description

Due to significant contract awards within our Water business, we are expanding our Water Infrastructure Team in Newcastle. By joining our team, you’ll be immersed in a strong, long-term pipeline of work, handling complex, large-scale and iconic projects across ANZ.

How you’ll make a difference:

  • You will be involved in electrical engineering works associated with pumping stations and equipment, water and wastewater treatment plants, ventilation, fire protection and HVAC systems.
  • Contribute to the delivery of electrical design packages.
  • From a technical perspective, you will be responsible for:
    • Electrical systems design including instrumentation, power distribution, control and communications;
    • Technical studies including modelling and computational analysis;
    • Electrical project cost estimating;
    • Computer aided drafting.
  • Contribute to the preparation of proposals, design schedules, budgets and technical and commercial submissions for bid proposals associated with electrical work for external clients.
  • Mentor junior members of the team.

Qualifications

The qualities that help you thrive:

  • Demonstrated experience on municipal water and/or wastewater projects.
  • Experience working within a dynamic consulting and design environment & in industrial electrical, instrument and control systems engineering.
  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering & CPEng (or working towards).
  • Project Management & Quality Management procedures (desirable).
