Currently seeking a Security Associate Director
Join our Security and Technology Engineering team at AECOM. This role offers a significant opportunity to contribute to future construction projects across major cities in Europe and worldwide.
The Security & Technology Engineering team is a specialized group within the Building Engineering division, providing security and technology design and support services to enhance our building engineering projects. Our Buildings Engineering team comprises around 400 engineers working on large-scale projects globally, including commercial developments, mixed-use projects, and CNI sectors.
Responsibilities
- Manage high-level technical and strategic security engineering services for new builds and fit-outs across all project stages.
- Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and write operational requirements.
- Lead master planning from city-level to mixed-use developments.
- Design physical security solutions, including electronic locking, walling, glazing, doors, barriers, and fencing.
- Create electronic security designs for surveillance, access control, intruder detection, and intercom systems.
- Provide counter-terrorism guidance, including Hostile Vehicle Mitigation, bomb blast, and ballistics, in partnership with specialists.
Qualifications
- Experience in Security Engineering.
- Certifications such as RSES, CSyP, MsyI, or PSP, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Business development experience.
- Relevant qualifications in security or engineering disciplines.
- Established expertise in Security Consultancy.
