Senior Project Controls Consultant – Locations
We are recruiting Senior Project Controls consultants for our Birmingham, Manchester, and London offices. Join the AECOM Integrated Programme Controls team to support infrastructure projects and programmes with PMO best practice.
Responsibilities
- Establishing / building on existing AECOM cost control and management systems
- Accountable (initially) for day-to-day collection of all cost information
- Responsible for the establishment and operation of the cost management process
- A key participant in establishing and monitoring management budgets
- Manage project budgets – both non-manual and manual labour hours and cost control
- Manage project budgets – equipment, plant, material and subcontract cost control
- Report costs against activities and provide metrics and comparisons between actual and budgeted costs of works performed
- Liaise with all parties to collate and manage quantity tracking and variances
- Prepare and collate inputs into the weekly and monthly reporting on cost flow forecast, cash-flow forecast, and cost value reporting
- Manage project defined cost forecasts and all associated reporting, cost capture and allocations
- Deliver data analysis to support project decisions and provide appropriate reporting dashboards and management information using the latest best-practice digital tools
Qualifications
- Experience in designing and managing the technical delivery of water and wastewater networks and treatment projects from feasibility and outline design through detailed design and construction support
- Strong collaboration and coordination skills between teams, clients and stakeholders
- Commercial awareness with experience in monitoring and control of engineering budgets
- A degree or equivalent in a related engineering subject
- Chartered Engineer status (or approaching chartered status)
