Job Description
As our portfolio of work continues to expand, our Building Engineering team in Perth is looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Engineer. We’re seeking a skilled and motivated engineer who thrives on delivering quality design solutions across a broad range of sectors.
How you’ll make a difference:
- Utilise your mechanical design experience to deliver high-quality, cost-effective outcomes across health, defence, transport, data centre, sports, commercial and other major building projects across ANZ.
- Lead mechanical design packages on key client projects, supporting the technical delivery of HVAC and building services systems while contributing to high-quality engineering outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality across calculations, specifications and detailed design documentation.
- Work closely with senior engineers and project leaders to deliver coordinated mechanical design solutions across complex building projects.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to graduate and junior engineers, supporting their technical development and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and clients, contributing to successful project outcomes and repeat business.
Qualifications

The qualities that help you thrive:
- Chartered Engineer with professional engineer registration (or working towards chartership). Equivalent recognition with a relevant professional body will also be considered.
- Ideally, 6–10+ years’ experience in a Building Services consultancy or significant design experience as a mechanical Engineer within the Mechanical Contracting field.
- Proven record in mechanical engineering design and project delivery across building services projects.
- Strong understanding of Building Services systems and Australian Standards, with the ability to contribute technical knowledge to clients, junior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience supporting the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously, with demonstrated design experience across a range of sectors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with project teams and clients.
- Given the nature of our projects, Australian Citizenship is preferred.
