In this Senior Electrical Engineer role, you will strengthen our Resources + Industry team in Adelaide or Perth, driving electrical project delivery across mining, industrial and civil infrastructure. You’ll up-skill and mentor the local team while contributing to feasibility, detailed design, procurement support, construction and commissioning phases. You’ll provide technical guidance on sustaining capital projects and decarbonisation studies, collaborating with cross-functional engineers to extend our capability and client base. Responsibilities
- Manage electrical components across all project lifecycle phases (feasibility, detailed design, procurement, site construction, commissioning)
- Collaborate with engineers across diverse projects (resources/industrial, transport, water, buildings)
- Provide technical advice on local sustaining capital projects and studies
- Support ANZ industrial decarbonisation studies
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and contribute to growing the team
Key requirements
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
- Proven engineering/design experience in mining, local government or heavy industry
- Exposure to design and specification of industrial systems (HV/LV distribution, controls and communications, safety systems, motor controls)
- Proficient in producing engineering documentation (technical specs, datasheets, reports, scope of works)
