Job DescriptionWhat you'll be doingDeliver moderate portions of broader civil/site infrastructure assignments with limited supervision, to agreed budget and programme. Gather, interpret and correlate engineering data using established procedures. Stormwater design (pit and pipe networks, major/minor systems, detention and drainage strategy)Bulk earthworks (grading, levels coordination, cut/fill balance considerations)Basic water and wastewater infrastructure (reticulation layouts, services coordination and constructability)WSUD inputs (where applicable) to support compliant and practical outcomes. Apply a strong quality focus: checking, design verification, documentation accuracy, and consistent adherence to standards. Propose practical approaches to new problems using modifications of standard methods and previous project learnings. Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers, supporting capability uplift and good engineering habits. QualificationsWhat we're looking for5β10 years' post-graduate experience in civil/site infrastructure design roles. Working knowledge of Austroads and an ability to interpret and apply local council/authority requirements. water/wastewater and services coordination experience is highly regarded.
