Overview
As Digital BIM Lead, you guide BIM execution and digital coordination across Building Services projects to standardize delivery. You will mentor BIM teams, ensure quality and ISO19650-aligned processes, and drive the adoption of digital tools to improve efficiency. You’ll liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align digital delivery with project objectives, across Defence, Health, Education, Sport & Culture, Transit, and Building sectors. This role sits within the National Building Engineering team and offers cross-office collaboration and impactful, portfolio-wide outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Lead BIM execution planning and digital coordination across Building Services projects
- Direct clash detection and model coordination, upholding BIM standards and ISO19650
- Guide the evaluation and implementation of digital tools and emerging technology
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to project-based BIM teams
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external consultants
- Work across Defence, Health, Education, Sport & Culture, Transit and Building projects
Key requirements
- Relevant technical qualifications or industry experience in Building Services
- Background in mechanical, fire or hydraulic disciplines highly regarded
- Proven experience in BIM coordination and digital delivery within construction or infrastructure
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit
- Working knowledge of Revizto and Navisworks
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Australian Citizenship preferred and defence clearance highly regarded
