Work with us to deliver a better world. As a graduate in our Environment + Energy Advisory (E+E) team you will work across our offices in Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester and Nottingham, starting Autumn 2026.
About our Team
The E+E Advisory group consists of around 80 consultants across the UK and Ireland, providing sustainability advisory services to help clients achieve environmental, social, health and safety ambitions. Work areas include:
- Carbon and Energy
- Nature, Resources and Climate Change
- ESG and Social Impact
Recent projects have involved working on national grid modernization, energy storage assessment for Transport for London and environmental impact for NHS Scotland.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and desk‑based support to senior team members, including research, data synthesis, calculations and report writing across the E+E work areas.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Project Directors and the wider team to support project delivery.
- Participate in team and client meetings as required.
- Prioritise project actions, meet commitments and take ownership of the quality and completion of work.
- Apply project management principles, including working within project budgets.
- Contribute to business development activities and proposals.

Qualifications
Education: Recent graduate with a strong undergraduate degree in a STEM‑based subject; preferred MSc or equivalent in Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Climate Change, Environmental Science, Sustainability Waste Management or related fields.
Skills: Excellent report writing, technical reviewing and communication; strong numerical and analytical skills; ability to present complex technical information with graphics; capability to work independently and as part of a team on concurrent projects.
Personal Attributes: Proactive, positive attitude, strong teamwork and collaboration, attention to detail, ownership of work quality.
Experience: Demonstrable experience in a relevant industrial or consultancy role is beneficial but not essential.
Preferred Qualifications: Valid driving licence for site visits. All candidates must have the permanent right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
