Overview
In this role, you will contribute to AECOM’s Water Infrastructure practice across Australia, supporting water and wastewater projects from planning through operations. You will collaborate with cross-office teams to deliver sustainable outcomes for clients and communities. You’ll lead design and technical work on diverse water projects, while mentoring peers and engaging with clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Provide design and engineering services for water and wastewater projects across various sectors
- Lead project and technical teams, depending on level, to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Mentor and collaborate with national and international offices
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand needs and deliver solutions
- Contribute to sustainable outcomes and compliance with Australian codes and standards
- Support business development and cross-functional collaboration across the water practice
Key requirements
- Tertiary qualifications; CPEng highly regarded
- Experience in water and/or wastewater projects within a dynamic consulting/design environment
- Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards
- Lead project/technical teams (highly regarded)
- Strong client and stakeholder engagement skills
