Overview
As a Mechanical Engineer in our Building Services team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of mechanical building services for diverse projects from fit-outs to large-scale schemes. You’ll work within a cross-office MEP environment, applying core engineering knowledge and expanding your skills in Revit and BIM-enabled workflows. You will support multiple projects, mentor trainees, and help advance our 3D and BIM capabilities. This role offers exposure to high-profile UK projects and decarbonisation initiatives, with a clear path to growth within a global engineering leader.

Responsibilities
- Support multiple projects and teams with design and delivery across project phases
- Execute specific portions of broader assignments under guidance of experienced engineers
- Gather and correlate engineering data using established procedures
- Perform detailed calculations and routine engineering tasks
- Propose approaches to solve new problems and identify result discrepancies
- Provide guidance to trainee engineers
- Work within agreed timeframes and supervision
- Contribute to development of technical proposals
- Support and lead 3D and BIM capabilities
Key requirements
- Knowledge and experience in mechanical building services design and calculations
- Motivated with ability to quickly grasp new concepts and design tools
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in building services mechanical design, including specifications, calculations, and development
- Familiarity with UK codes and practices
