Here’s what you’ll do:
- Deliver: Undertake design duties for OLE design Schemes. Produce the technical designs for OLE including Layout Plans, Cross Sections, Allocations, Isolation Diagrams updates, bonding designs, and supporting reports and calculations.
- Provide Expertise: Development OLE designs through the different stages of the project life cycle for complex sites. Ensuring designs are delivered in line with relevant, current design standards, are constructable, and apply Safe by Design principles.
- Collaborate: Communicate effectively with other design/construction disciplines and sub-contractors.
- Ensure Quality: Respond to design queries during construction phase and attend site meetings if required.

Ready to push the limits of what’s possible? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- BSc, BEng or MEng degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Chartered Engineer (or working towards) and member of a professional institution.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in OLEMI and other OLE ranges i.e. UKMS, Series-1, Series-2, Mk3B, GEFF, Mk1, SICAT, SNCF, UK1 etc.
- Familiar with Isolation diagrams and their update process.
- Understanding of Earthing & Bonding required for electrification
- Proficient in Bentley MicroStation CAD software
- Excellent communications and organisation skills.
- Understanding of CSM-RA & Health and Safety including CDM
- Experience of managing teams.
