We have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveying graduate to join our cost management team, providing construction cost management services to clients in the UK, Ireland and worldwide. AECOM delivers Cost Management services to both public and private sector clients across the construction industry, including commercial, manufacturing, education, health, residential, leisure, culture and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Work on local projects and interact with teams across the UK and Ireland, potentially across the globe.
- Participate in all project stages: initial definition and brief, cost planning, procurement, construction and building use.
- Collaborate with a wide variety of clients and designers, including high‑profile names.
- Work autonomously and as part of a team, receiving guidance and support for development.
- Pre‑contract duties: cost modelling and cost planning, benchmarking, value and risk analysis, attending design team meetings, procurement tasks and managing tender processes, compiling contract documentation, attending site progress meetings, completing valuations, financial reporting, due diligence reporting, reviewing and managing change control procedures.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying & Construction Economics (preferably RICS/SCSI accredited).
- Effective decision making and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, driven approach to work and promoting success.
- Ability to work in a team of diverse individuals to meet common objectives.
- Commitment to meeting deadlines set by clients and managers.
- Good organisational skills: ability to manage multiple tasks and willingness to seek help and support team members.
