Job Description
Are you ready to challenge the boundaries of what’s possible? As a Field Operations Coordinator, you will collect data that helps inform local and central government policy around transport and environmental issues. You’ll be involved in coordinating field teams and gathering insights that help us understand how people move, what they need, and how we can improve transport systems. You’ll play a key role in supporting projects that make communities connected, sustainable, and efficient.
About You
You will be a self‑motivated individual who can assist with all aspects of data collection, organise fieldwork activities, support fieldworkers, track KPIs, and ensure health and safety regulations and quality guidelines are followed.
Responsibilities
- Organise fieldwork activities and schedule field staff shifts.
- Arrange travel, accommodation, and project briefings.
- Assist fieldworkers by ensuring equipment/materials, compliance with protocols, and responding to queries.
- Maintain accurate collection, storage, and checking of field data.
- Document and report progress, track KPIs, and provide updates to Project Managers.
- Ensure fieldwork adheres to health and safety regulations and internal quality guidelines; conduct spot checks and quality control.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in business administration, social sciences, or related field.
- Strong maths, English, organisational skills, attention to detail, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Experience in administrative roles, project coordination, or fieldwork support is beneficial.
- Comfortable using MS Excel; knowledge of survey programming (SNAP, Askia) and data management (SPSS) is a plus.
