We’re looking to recruit an enthusiastic Chartered Building Surveyor to join our expanding Building Surveying Team in Manchester. The successful candidate will undertake a range of works at the expected level of a Chartered Building Surveyor, reporting to senior and management teams. Projects include live healthcare facilities, commercial premises, schools, and historic university buildings mainly in the UK, with occasional UK travel and some international travel to the USA and Middle East in 2024. The role offers a ‘Freedom to Grow’ policy: work in the office or from home, flex hours, and a requirement to be in the office at least one day per week. Career progression is unlimited within the Building Surveying team, with full support, mentorship, and encouragement to thrive professionally.

  • NEC Supervisor duties
  • Condition Surveys including preventive maintenance planning
  • Reinstatement Cost Assessment
  • Specification preparation
  • AutoCAD Drawing and Design work including measured surveys
  • Schedules of Condition
  • Occasional collaboration with our Pre‑Acquisition and Technical Due Diligence Survey team

Qualifications

  • BSc (Hons) Building Surveying
  • Chartered Member of the RICS
  • NEC Supervisor accreditation (desirable but not essential)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using iPad technology
