We are the world's trusted infrastructure consulting firm, partnering with clients to solve the world’s most complex challenges and build legacies for future generations.
Job Description
Start here. Grow here. Are you looking to advise on infrastructure projects as they develop into their own asset class, and projects that are always more complex and innovative than the last? If so we are looking for an experienced Associate Director / Technical Director to join our Transaction Advisory and asset management team to advise on economic and social infrastructure projects being delivered via project and quasi-development / property finance routes.
Key responsibilities will be to deliver a backlog of existing advisory mandates across social and infrastructure sectors under a project finance and real estate finance banner, where asset management is a key focus, and thereafter focus on client delivery and advice, in order to enhance AECOM’s Transaction Advisory’s service capability. In addition to existing advisory mandates and the asset management of those mandates in economic and social infrastructure which requires the Transaction Advisory team to deliver a range of core project finance services, including PPP / PFI, lifecycle, operational and payment reviews, and quasi-development / property finance, new mandates are focused in the carbon net zero arena.
- You will be a key member of the team, helping and ensuring high-quality technical reporting, analysis and advice to clients that include NGOs, commercial banks, infrastructure funds and funding institutions.
- Identification of qualifying economic infrastructure projects for delivery through participation in technical, financial and risk discussions with clients.
- Delivery of analytical and thoughtful advice on infrastructure transactions.
- Identification of sector pursuits and where advice can be offered across the client base.
- Build and develop effective working relationships with colleagues, intermediaries and other networks to help develop further opportunities and your own career.
- Contribute to the knowledge management of the Transaction Advisory team and wider Asset Management team.
- Own and manage the delivery of a set number of projects for a set number of clients.
- Maintain a quality of delivery and advice to bolster your own client base.
- Utilise in-house project management systems / protocols to assist your ongoing development.
- Identify technical risks within projects and consider potential mitigation of these risks for the benefit of infrastructure transactions.
If you are passionate about innovation and turning bold ideas into reality, AECOM welcomes you. Join our team, where we don’t just construct infrastructure but also uplift communities and enhance lives.
