Overview
In this role you will shape environmental performance across large infrastructure developments, collaborating with a broad EIA team to deliver high-quality assessments and outputs. You’ll touch every project stage, from strategy and site studies to design and operation, while engaging clients and stakeholders. You’ll help drive improvements, support business development, and promote AECOM’s environmental services in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate environmental inputs to EIA screening, scoping, and Environmental Statements; review specialist chapters
- Contribute across the full project lifecycle, from strategy to construction and operations
- Support multiple consenting regimes (DCO, TCPA, TWAO, etc.)
- Maintain high quality standards across deliverables with attention to detail
- Develop and manage project resources and budgets with support
- Collaborate with integrated design teams to identify constraints and mitigation opportunities
- Maintain direct client contact and manage internal supply teams
- Contribute to business development and proposal activities to promote environmental services
Key requirements
- Degree in an environmental discipline; professional membership
- EIA consultancy experience; coordinating environmental reports and reviewing specialist chapters
- Understanding of relevant consenting regimes; teamwork across technical inputs
- Developing project management skills including scheduling and budgeting
- Commitment to innovation and continuing professional development
- Experience with DCO and/or TWAO regimes beneficial but not essential
- Strong verbal and reporting writing skills; stakeholder engagement
