Overview

As a Civil Engineer in our Aviation Infrastructure team, you contribute to designing airport infrastructure and supporting major aviation projects. You work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver resilient, sustainable solutions across runways, taxiways, and related assets. You’ll develop technical outputs, assist site assessments, and own assigned tasks to help clients make informed investments. This role offers a clear development pathway within a global, collaborative firm focused on shaping modern airports.

Responsibilities

  • Design airport infrastructure components (runways, taxiways, aprons, service roads, drainage, utilities, airfield systems)
  • Produce engineering calculations, reports, drawings, and technical specifications across project lifecycle
  • Support site inspections and asset condition surveys to inform investment decisions
  • Organise and own assigned tasks while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions

Key requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects (aviation experience welcome but not essential)
  • Interest in developing a career in aviation infrastructure
  • Enjoys solving complex engineering challenges in multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of DMRB or highway civil engineering design
