Our Belfast office is seeking a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our well-established and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, client-facing engineer who is ready to take on a leading role in delivering high-quality projects across Northern Ireland. You will work on a wide range of exciting and high-profile projects, collaborating within a multidisciplinary environment and contributing to innovative, well-engineered solutions. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, confident, and demonstrates strong technical and team leadership capabilities.

What you'll do:

  • Undertake specific engineering tasks as part of wider project assignments under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Gather, analyse, and correlate engineering data using established procedures
  • Carry out detailed and routine mechanical engineering calculations and design tasks
  • Propose solutions to new and emerging technical challenges
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in design outputs and calculations
  • Provide guidance and support to entry-level engineers
  • Deliver work in line with agreed budgets and project schedules with moderate supervision
  • Produce and develop BIM models directly in Revit
  • Present design calculations clearly and coherently
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary project team

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • MEng (Hons) or higher-level qualification is desirable
