Graduate Bridge Structures Engineers – Leeds (2026)
Full‑time position with a hybrid work model based in Bristol, UK.
Job Responsibilities
Successful candidates will use industry‑leading computer software to work on a range of bridge‑specific tasks, including:
- Structural Design
- Bridge Assessment
- Finite Element Analysis
- Structural Inspections
- Structures Renewal Feasibility Studies
- On‑site Works Supervision
- Scheme Management
Qualifications
- BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or above
- MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering is an advantage
- Structural modules or Structural/Bridge Engineering experience is an advantage
- Demonstrated technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering
- Interest in Bridge Structures Engineering and aspiration to develop a career in this industry
- Willingness to pursue chartership with ICE or IStructE
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to engage diverse stakeholders
- Enthusiastic, hard‑working, ambitious and driven
- Ability to structure and prioritise work in team and independently, maintaining initiative
