With a strong passion and interest in Evaluation and Benefits Management, this Technical Specialist role in our Transportation team is a leadership position focused on supporting growth in our evaluation and benefits management business. Responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Leadership: Leading the development and execution of strategic initiatives to grow the evaluation and benefits management work area.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, providing strategic advice to ensure their goals are met.
- Technical Excellence: Providing oversight of the delivery of complex evaluation and benefits management projects.
- Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the evaluation and benefits management sector.
- Team Development: Supporting the ongoing recruitment, mentoring and development of our high‑performing evaluation and benefits management team.
We develop projects from concept through operation providing engineering and construction services for multi‑year, multimillion‑dollar projects for major rail and transit agencies. Our specialists provide analytical and strategic expertise for every stage of a project.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience of working in the evaluation field.
- Higher degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Chartered Status or Membership in professional bodies such as the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) or Transport Planning Society (TPS) or UK Evaluation Society.
- Practical experience of applying mixed methods in evaluation.
- Proven expertise in theory based and experimental/quasi experimental evaluation design for projects and programmes relevant to the transport context.
- Strong analytical competencies directly applicable to a consultancy setting.
- Critical thinker with problem solving mindset.
- Strong leadership, team management and mentoring capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results.
- Comprehensive knowledge of transport planning principles, policies, and regulations in the UK & I region.
- Understanding of how AI platforms can assist in the execution of evaluation and benefits management projects.
