The BIM Manager will support the implementation of the organization’s technology strategy, promote digital workflows and ensure timely delivery of project information models on projects. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders including task team leads to manage the digital process effectively during project delivery.
Here's what you'll do:
- Serve as the BIM liaison between clients, contractors, designers, and lead appointed party to enhance project efficiency.
- Collaborate with task team leads to produce and maintain project information models.
- Develop and update Information Execution Plans and related documents for projects against the EIRs and support supply chain assessments.
- Support project teams through BIM assurance activities such as auditing compliance.
- Train colleagues, project teams and partners on specific BIM tools.
- Ensure staff have the necessary tools and equipment for their tasks.
- Provide advice to IT for hardware and software procurement to optimize technology solutions.
- Support the generation of monthly reporting for senior leadership and clients against agreed BIM KPIs.
- Stay informed on advancements in building technology.
- Drive the dialogue to influence the implementation of digital solutions and strategies across projects.
- Lead meetings to define project tasks and address issues.
- Oversee project BIM resourcing, workload management, and project pipeline.
- Support team through mentoring of team members.
- Promote the value of BIM within the organization and across sectors and disciplines.
- Adhere to industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and manage project deliverables.
- Strong design sensibility and model authoring skills.
- Experience coordinating with key stakeholders.
- Proficient in writing and editing internal and external documentation.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Hands-on experience in the construction industry is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks/Solibri, CAD, and CDE solutions (e.g., Forma).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI is a plus.
