Location: London – Aldgate Tower, Hybrid work model (2–3 days per week in office) – Full‑time

Our London studio seeks a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a multidisciplinary design team. The role involves supporting senior architects through the architectural process, from conceptual design to technical delivery, across a range of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with conceptual design work and project presentations
  • Support design development, feasibility studies and technical outputs
  • Produce architectural drawings, models and visualisations
  • Prepare working drawings, specifications and documentation for technical delivery and implementation
  • Coordinate with architects, interior designers, landscape designers and engineering consultants
  • Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings and technical discussions
  • Support site visits, surveys and project reviews as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 2:1 / Merit or equivalent academic standing
  • Proficiency in Revit and Rhino modelling
  • Competent use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop) advantageous
  • Knowledge of building construction techniques and architectural detailing
  • Understanding of UK construction procurement methodologies and documentation
  • Good understanding of BIM and digital design processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and collaborate within a team environment
  • Capability to obtain UK Government security clearance where necessary (advantageous)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence for travel to project sites
  • Demonstrated report writing and documentation skills
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and contribute effectively within a collaborative design environment
