Overview
AECOM is seeking a Global Sourcing Specialist to join our Global Procurement team. This role will support indirect spend categories across multiple regions, working in a growing and evolving procurement function.
Responsibilities
- Category & strategy development — Contribute to AECOM\’s Think & Act Global strategy by supporting multiple categories of spend across regions. Develop and implement sourcing strategies tailored to business needs and geography.
- Strategic sourcing execution — Identify opportunities for savings and value creation (from contract renegotiation to full RFP). Lead end-to-end sourcing projects across countries, including RFI/RFQ/RFP management, supplier evaluation, and contract implementation.
- Data & analysis — Use data to analyze demand and supply trends. Leverage common spend across regions through alternative sourcing approaches.
- Value delivery — Define commercial outcomes at the start of each project, including baseline spend, cost savings targets, and efficiency gains. Deliver contracts that improve cost, quality, and service levels.
- Stakeholder engagement — Build trusted partnerships with key stakeholders across AECOM globally. Position Strategic Sourcing as a proactive and reliable advisor.
- Supplier & process management — Support supplier relationship management for strategic vendors, using KPIs and escalation processes to drive performance. Collaborate with Source-to-Pay teams to improve end-to-end processes (PO compliance, workflows, approvals, payment terms).
- Team contribution — Share best practices and support the development of procurement capability across the global team. Demonstrate a high standard of delivery and commitment to continuous improvement.
