Overview
As a Senior Rail Civils design engineer at AECOM in Glasgow, you will lead civil design work across rail projects from feasibility through detailed design.
You will contribute to multi-disciplinary teams, delivering rail infrastructure for both public and private sector clients.
You’ll tackle complex transport schemes, guiding interfaces and ensuring project quality.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of civils designs from stations to train depots and power upgrades
- Provide expertise within multi-disciplinary projects from concept to implementation
- Ensure quality and address project challenges in transportation schemes
- Key requirements
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (CEng/IEng) or working towards this status
- Recognised engineering qualification or degree in engineering (preferably)
- Experience in Civils Design with technical leadership and successful interface management across projects
