We are seeking experienced BIM Managers to support advanced digital delivery across multiple opportunities. Successful candidates will work either within our central Digital Energy Team or within one of our three Energy practices: Nuclear, Transmission & Distribution (T&D), and R&D.

Responsibilities

  • BIM Implementation Strategy – develop BIM Implementation strategy & deliver complex international projects.
  • CDE Management – establish & administer the CDE & support efficient management of multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Project Management – coordinate BIM execution & project delivery with project leadership.
  • BIM Execution – create & maintain the project’s industry framework docs: BEP, MIDP, MPDT, appendices etc.
  • Technical Support – establish data-integrated workflows for Water Plant projects & provide support, guidance & training to project teams.
  • Digital Technology & Content Management – oversee the production of smart object content, templates & libraries in the context of the project, deploy the use of AECOM’s content management system (Autodesk Content Catalogue/UNIFI) onto projects and manage the best practice use of digital technology for collaboration, coordination & delivery.
  • Quality – establish & administer the digital quality assurance control procedures.
  • Collaboration – be an ambassador for a global group working with AECOM region project teams, Enterprise Capabilities office disciplines & other Enterprise Capabilities Digital departments.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the ISO 19650 framework and related BIM standards.
  • Experience managing and delivering project information on multidisciplinary Energy projects, with particular experience on large-scale infrastructure or industrial facilities, working with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience delivering BIM data using industry-standard software, including one or more of the following: Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk Advanced Steel, Autodesk Plant 3D, Bentley OpenPlant.
  • Experience working with and administering a Common Data Environment (CDE) such as Autodesk Construction Cloud and/or Bentley ProjectWise.
  • Proven experience in multi-discipline coordination, clash detection, and issue management, with advanced user capability in tools such as Autodesk Navisworks, Revizto, and ACC Model Coordination.
  • Strong background in the technical production of 3D and 2D model deliverables for Energy infrastructure projects, including complex plant, substations, or industrial facilities.
  • Strong understanding of energy infrastructure equipment and systems, including familiarity with specification-driven design and process, mechanical, and electrical design methodologies.
  • Knowledge and understanding of process diagrams and electrical schematics, including P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and system layouts, as applicable to Energy projects.
  • Visual programming skills preferred, with working knowledge of Dynamo or Grasshopper.
  • A demonstrable portfolio of BIM delivery on Energy projects, such as power generation, transmission, substations, nuclear, or related energy infrastructure.

Professional Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial or Process Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural or Design Technology or Construction Technology, or related discipline with project execution experience or a demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience.
