Cintas is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice for our Fire Protection business. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who would like to learn a trade in the Fire Protection industry. This position provides valuable work experience by working alongside a technician in the service, inspection and repair of sprinkler systems. Our progressive training approach combines on the job training, online and classroom instruction. This candidate will be paired with a qualified technician to provide on the job training. Cintas partners with outside vendors to provide additional instruction. Our progressive training program will provide the tools and certifications to convert to a qualified Fire Sprinkler Technician, wherein the job duties will include conducting service calls, systems testing and inspections to the prescribed standards, performing on-site emergency repairs of our customer’s sprinkler systems and identifying non-conformances to code.
Skills/Qualifications
- Required: High School Diploma/GED
- Required: Valid driver's license
- Preferred: Experience in the Fire Protection industry
- Preferred: Experience with trades such as HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing

Compensation
A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $24.00 - $26.40/Hour. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organization needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decision are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
