Overview: Graduate Electrical Engineer (Transmission) will perform system stability analyses and other technical studies. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver design, environmental and consenting work within a joint venture context (AECOM Arup). Engage with industry bodies (IET, IEI, CIGRE) for networking and professional development.
Qualifications:
- BSc/BEng in Electrical/Power Engineering, typically 2:1 or above; MSc/MEng would be advantageous.
- HV experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD 3D preferred; Python or scripting skills advantageous.
- Strong numerical skills; ability to work in a team and independently; excellent written and verbal communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong research and report writing abilities; attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic, hard-working with ambition and drive.
Desirable:
- Full driving license and willingness to travel occasionally (site travel with equipment may be required).
