You’ll collaborate with cross-disciplinary experts to deliver high-quality assessments for UK and international projects, including major frameworks. You’ll work hybrid, grow with a supportive, inclusive team, and contribute to transformative water projects that protect communities. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li hybrid working model /li li career development opportunities /li li AECOM University and training /li li volunteering days /li li competitive salary and benefits /li li flexible working arrangements /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Produce flood hydrological assessments to support flood alleviation schemes, flood risk assessments, and Environment Agency flood mapping /li li Derive flood flows using FEH across catchments in England /li li Create high-quality technical reports /li li Utilise GIS tools (ArcGIS Pro, QGIS) to underpin analysis /li li Technically review hydrological work within AECOM /li li Build and maintain client and cross-disciplinary relationships /li li Stay updated on methodological developments and share with the team /li li Engage as an active member of the national hydrology and hydraulic modelling community /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experience estimating flood flows using FEH and REFH2 /li li Strong statistical hydrology knowledge /li li Experience calibrating hydraulic models with hydraulic modellers /li li Experience in rating reviews /li li Bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent /li li Working towards Chartered (ICE or CIWEM) /li /ul ul li Self-motivated and autonomous work style /li li Strong commitment and willingness to learn /li li Team collaboration and client-facing skills /li li GIS: QGIS, ArcGIS /li li MapInfo /li li Scripting: R, Python, Anaconda, Ruby (advantageous) /li /ul
