Grow here. “Are you ready to join a team of flood risk specialists and shape the future of the Water Industry?” Our Water team is on the lookout for a passionate Coastal Modeller to join our dynamic and rapidly growing Water Business Line. This is your chance to help deliver high profile, influential projects across the UK and even further afield while working at the heart of one of the UK’s most ambitious and connected northern engineering hubs. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping resilient, future proof solutions for communities, infrastructure and the environment. No two days are the same, and you’ll have every opportunity to grow, innovate, and collaborate with a team that thrives on variety.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Assist in undertaking modelling studies for a range of projects, from feasibility/option appraisal through to detailed design.
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines to support the delivery of modelling studies.
  • Contribute to the development, setup and application of numerical models.
  • Support senior team members in project delivery, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Assist in ensuring tasks are delivered to agreed budgets, programmes and quality standards.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and project documentation.
  • Liaise with internal teams and, where appropriate, support communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Continue to develop technical skills and knowledge within the coastal modelling field.
