Join our innovative and multidisciplinary Water team as a Senior Project Manager, based in one of our growing offices - whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model. At AECOM, we are leaders in innovation, delivering a diverse portfolio of water programmes and projects through long-term partnerships with key clients, including major UK water companies like Wessex Water, Welsh Water, South West Water, Thames Water, Severn Trent Water and Tier 1 Contractors.
In this role, you'll take the lead on various aspects of multiple small to medium sized water utility projects, covering both wastewater and potable water schemes, primarily within key client long-term frameworks. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a talented, diverse team dedicated to efficiency and forward-thinking solutions.
Here's what you'll do:
- Provide input/support on continuous improvement to, and execution of, project delivery procedures.
- Drive consistent Project Manager (PM) practices and procedures in alignment with AECOM PM requirements and the Project Delivery System (PDS).
- Oversee the work of one or more Project Managers and provide support as required into any of the Project Managers tasks noted above.
- Depending on region and project requirements you may also project manage more complex projects of your own, in addition to the above.

Qualifications Ready to push the limits of what's possible? Here's what we're looking for:
- A degree or equivalent in an engineering subject - e.g. civil, mechanical, electrical.
- Experience in delivering water or wastewater treatment projects.
- Have strong commercial, risk management and contractual skills and experience, e.g. NEC4.
- Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer Status or APM registration.
