Job Description

At AECOM, we are looking for ambitious, hardworking, enthusiastic Civil & Structural Engineering graduates with strong computational, mathematical, and design skills. Candidates will work on a variety of projects from concept design to implementation for clients locally, nationally and internationally, focusing on delivery of results while enjoying technically challenging projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Use leading computer software to work on structural design, bridge assessment, finite element analysis, structural inspections, renewal feasibility studies, on‑site works supervision, and scheme management.
  • Contribute to the design of structures from inception to completion.
  • Assess existing structures through on‑site inspection and analysis at various stages.
  • Manage resources and tasks within a scheme of structures.

Qualifications

  • BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering, 2:1 classification or higher.
  • MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering an advantage.
  • Experience or strong modules in Structural/Bridge Engineering an advantage.
  • Demonstrable technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering.
  • Enthusiastic interest in bridge structures and a career in the industry.
  • Willing to work towards chartership with ICE or IStructE.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong initiative, ambition, and drive.
  • Ability to structure and prioritise work and work both independently and in a team.
