Lead a multidisciplinary water team to deliver complex water infrastructure projects. You will manage project delivery, budgets and programmes, work across all design stages and mentor junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Deliver complex tasks and projects, managing budgets, programmes and ensuring high‑quality delivery.
- Lead technical work from feasibility to design, operation, maintenance and asset management.
- Ensure design complies with all applicable standards and regulations and provide technical expertise for interdisciplinary studies.
- Liaise with clients to develop scope, price proposals and communicate progress.
- Lead technical delivery on multiple projects and review work produced by others.
- Provide line‑manager responsibilities for junior staff, including guidance, performance evaluations and mentorship.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience delivering and designing sustainable drainage or nature‑based solutions at Principal level.
- Experience leading project teams, sub‑teams and mentoring junior staff.
- Chartered/Incorporated or working towards a relevant chartered status (ICE, CIWEM).
- Experience in engineering assessments, options appraisals, calculations and/or economic appraisals.
- Experience in outline and/or detailed design of flood risk management, assessment or drainage schemes.
