We are looking for passionate Project Managers to join our growing Infrastructure Project Management team in the UK, where you will have a key focus on energy transmission and distribution projects. Based in London or one of our South East & Anglia hub offices, with the added flexibility of hybrid working, you will have the chance to play a key role in delivering transformative projects across the country. Here’s what you’ll do:
- Lead the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary Transmission, Distribution and Power Systems projects.
- Client-side project management, including stakeholder, H&S, risk, quality, schedule, and contract management.
- Ensure projects and commissions are delivered to the satisfaction of the client for quality, cost, and time.
- Support and manage the project team ensuring appropriate resources are provided on projects, meeting the client and business requirements.
- Actively manage subcontractors and resources remote from the core project team.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and members of the cross-functional team.
- Support business development opportunities with existing and new clients.
Qualifications
Ready to push the limits of what’s possible? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Experience of working within a client organisation, either directly or through a co-location/secondment arrangement.
- Prior experience of supporting and delivering Transmission and Distribution projects, or an experience of construction projects with an active interest in the field of Transmission and Distribution.
- Practitioner of NEC suite of contracts, particularly the Professional Services Contract (PSC) and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC).
- Experience of working as part of integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams.
- Infrastructure and project management experience, delivering complex projects.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Highly motivated and with excellent industry network.
- Relationship building skills - ability to build strong relationships with clients, teams, and stakeholders as well as an ability to build and maintain networks of business contacts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A team player with a 'can-do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible.
Professional Qualification - ideally Project Management / Construction Management / or Engineering Degree. Chartered Status or actively working towards with the RICS, APM or equivalent institution. NEC3 or 4 accreditation.
