In this Senior Public Health Engineer role, you will lead PH and fire protection design across diverse building projects, shaping sustainable infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Lead public health and fire protection design on projects
- Mentor and develop staff within the discipline
- Project manage small multidisciplinary projects
- Coordinate information from Architects, QS and Design Consultants for fully coordinated designs
- Ensure design team is informed of technical information throughout the project
- Support pre-qualification and tender responses; address tender queries
- Ensure conformance with QA, standards and codes of practice
- Represent AECOM at client, design team and progress meetings
- Input to Revit BIM design processes and project support
- Ensure statutory approvals and submissions to authorities
Key requirements
- Public health engineering design experience in design consultancy or similar
- Strong knowledge of statutory regulations and design compliance
- Ability to work independently with good time management
- Experience in mixed-use, residential, commercial and healthcare buildings/sectors
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drawings
- Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Chartered Engineer with CIBSE / IET / IMechE (or working towards)
- BEng in engineering (MEng preferred)
