Job Description
Do you have experience delivering Information Management solutions within a Common Data Environment, as well as using the Microsoft Power platform? Our Digital Solutions Team are looking for a Power Platform Developer & Information Manager to support our Transportation business. We provide technical leadership of projects throughout the infrastructure lifecycle - from feasibility, preliminary and detailed stage designs. Our clients span both the private and public sector, including the major custodians of the UK's rail network, numerous local authorities, and major contractors.
Our solutions span real-time traffic management, through spatial presentation of project data to tools that manage the timing of planning and environmental consents. Working within the Digital Solutions Team you will:
- Information Management: Develop and maintain efficient information management systems to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and security. Implement best practices for data governance, compliance and lifecycle management. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify information needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Digital Development Using Microsoft Power Platform: Design, develop, and deploy custom applications, workflows, and automation using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Create intuitive dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights and support decision-making. Continuously explore and implement innovative solutions to enhance digital capabilities.
- Project Management: Manage projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational goals. Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaboration & Training: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and deliver technology-driven solutions. Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective adoption of digital tools and processes. Act as a champion for digital transformation, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
Here's what we need from you:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Proficiency in ProjectWise and ACC Information Management.
- Strong understanding of data management principles, including ISO 19650, data governance and security.
- Able to analyse business processes and translate them into digital solutions.
- Strong data visualisation and reporting skills to present insights effectively.
- Experience in training and supporting end-users to maximise tool adoption.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
