Role to join the growing Europe & India Regional Procurement team focused on expanding into project procurement. The team supports Global Business Lines in the region to design robust procurement processes and implement them through the Coupa Source to Pay platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teams in following established procurement processes, ensuring ethical and efficient buying while respecting client needs and timescales.
- Manage categories for indirect procurement, notably IT peripherals and office supplies.
- Learn sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and vetting, and apply this knowledge day‐to‐day with the teams.
- Contract suppliers directly for projects after training.
- Engage the supply chain to deliver our commitment to a Sustainable Legacy and to becoming a Net Zero business by 2040.
- Travel occasionally to meet with internal teams and suppliers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate, influence, and lead discussions.
- Proven problem‐solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction, details orientation when handling commercial and legal offers from suppliers, and a capacity to view procurement's role in achieving broader strategic business priorities.
Working Conditions
- Based in the East Midlands, primarily working from home with 1–2 days in the office per week.
- Ability to travel as required.
