Job DescriptionStart here. Grow here. We are seeking a full-time ICT Associate Director to join our Building Engineering Division , based in one of AECOM\’s UK offices . As part of AECOM\’s Security & Technology team, you will deliver ICT design and advisory services that complement and enhance the work of our Mechanical and Electrical engineering teams. This role involves the design of ICT systems across a wide range of sectors, including office fit-outs, mixed-use developments, industrial projects, and public-sector/government organisations. You will bring a strong understanding of client business practices and objectives, using this insight to analyse requirements and develop effective, tailored solutions. Working under general direction, you will be responsible for developing work plans, defining tasks, and delivering high-quality technical outputs. You will have broad technical expertise, alongside a recognised area of specialism.

Communication Room design

ITC cabinet design

Structured cabling design

Telecoms planning

Wireless networks

LAN switch networks

Connected Real Estate

Designs will also need support and interface to other third-party Internet Protocol (IP) based technologies, including:

Security – CCTV and Access Control.

AV and Multimedia, including IPTV, digital signage, room booking systems, and Intelligent building components.

Common Network Systems (CNS), including integration with third-party MEP services, including but not limited to Lighting Control, BMS, and other building-related services and systems.

As projects move to a construction phase

Undertaking client design team meetings.

Site inspections.

Test result analysis.

Witness testing.
