Responsibilities:
- Utilize company cornerstone systems to manage and represent cost data formats necessary for project control and financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data and earned value metrics to identify key project issues, prepare revised cost forecasts, and assess progress trends and cost impacts.
- Evaluate manpower, labor hours, and labor costs against budget limitations; prepare variance analysis and expenditure forecasts to identify critical funding points.
- Review and track purchase order, subcontract commitments, and contractor invoices to ensure subcontractor funding aligns with work authorization and expenditures.
- Establish and maintain cost/schedule baselines using project drawings and specifications; apply critical path analysis and cost/schedule integration concepts.
- Manage scope control and change order tracking to ensure project management maintains awareness of detailed change status and financial implications.
- Conduct performance measurement, cost trending, and prepare various levels of project reporting and cost review meeting presentations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 yearsโ experience in project controls
- Skilled in verbal and written communication.
- Advanced knowledge of engineering, procurement contracts, construction, and startup work processes.
- Knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct, perform, review, and present schedule products independently with minimal supervision, including using a high level of professional judgment and knowledge related to technical planning and scheduling skills and engineering design, construction and procurement practices.
