Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of advanced electrical distribution systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications
Develop and review technical documents such as design basis, load lists, cable schedules, and single-line diagrams
Perform complex equipment sizing calculations for transformers, generators, cables, and other electrical components
Utilize cuttingâedge system studies software to model electrical systems and conduct load flow, short circuit, and protection relay setting studies
Oversee project teams and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget
Stay current with industry trends, standards, and regulations, implementing best practices in electrical engineering
Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting complex electrical issues
Contribute to the development of company standards and procedures for electrical engineering projects
Requirements
Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems and distribution
Proven expertise in designing low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
Proficiency in using system studies software such as ETAP, SKM, or Amtech
Strong knowledge of industry standards, including IEEE, NEC, and IEC
Experience with CAD software for electrical design and drafting
Excellent analytical and problemâsolving skills, with a keen eye for detail
Strong leadership abilities and project management experience
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and mentor junior engineers
Commitment to staying updated with the latest technological advancements in electrical engineering
