Job Description
We are seeking experienced BIM Managers to support advanced digital delivery across multiple Energy projects, including Transmission & Distribution, Renewables, and Nuclear decommissioning. Roles may be based in the central Digital Energy Team or in one of our three Energy practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement BIM strategy for international projects.
- Establish and administer the Common Data Environment (CDE) for multi‑stakeholder projects.
- Coordinate BIM execution and project delivery with project leadership.
- Create and maintain the project’s industry framework documents (BEP, MIDP, MPDT, etc.).
- Establish data‑integrated workflows and provide technical support, guidance and training to project teams.
- Oversee the production of smart object content, templates and libraries using AECOM’s content management system (Autodesk Content Catalogue / UNIFI).
- Develop and enforce digital quality assurance control procedures.
- Act as an ambassador for a global group, collaborating with region project teams, Enterprise Capabilities office disciplines and other Digital departments.

Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of the ISO 19650 framework and related BIM standards.
- Experience delivering information on multidisciplinary Energy projects, especially large‑scale infrastructure.
- Proficiency in industry‑standard BIM software (Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Advanced Steel, Plant 3D, Bentley OpenPlant).
- Experience administering a Common Data Environment such as Autodesk Construction Cloud or Bentley ProjectWise.
- Advanced coordination skills with clash detection tools (Navisworks, Revizto, ACC Model Coordination).
- Strong production skills for 3D and 2D model deliverables in Energy infrastructure.
- Understanding of energy equipment and systems, including design methodologies.
- Knowledge of process diagrams and electrical schematics (P&IDs, single‑line diagrams).
- Preferable visual programming skills (Dynamo or Grasshopper).
- Demonstrable portfolio of BIM delivery on Energy projects.
Professional Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial or Process Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Design Technology or Construction Technology, or related discipline with project execution experience.
