Are you ready to support a talented team of engineers and consultants, and shape the future of the water industry? Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Senior CAD Technician. We are looking for a passionate individual with Civil 3D/Revit experience to contribute to the delivery of high‑quality technical drawings and models across a range of infrastructure projects. You will be based in our fantastic Glasgow office, whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model.

Here’s what you’ll do:
- Digital Delivery: Responsible for developing design outputs from initial concepts through to fully detailed design deliverables.
- Utilise Digital Tools: Encourage the use of digital tools to review, influence, and enhance design quality processes.
- Champion BIM: Promote, articulate, and lead BIM behaviours on the projects.
- Coordinate project Deliverables: Support coordination of deliverables for multiple projects, ensuring completion within budget.
- Provide support and management of project resources: Facilitate production of deliverables.
- Team Relationship: Be proactive in relationships with internal project stakeholders, reporting progress and highlighting any technical issues for timely resolution.
- Maintain Standards: Support the CAD Lead in maintaining CAD standards, best practices, and processes for modelling, content creation, and advanced digital developments.
- Design Team Meetings: Actively participate and input to design team meetings, bringing with you a digital by default mindset, championing the use of 3D model reviews and markups.
- Mentor Junior Technicians: Work across the Scotland offices supporting junior Revit Technicians, from a technical perspective.

Qualifications Ready to push the limits of what’s possible? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Certified minimum of HND or Equivalent: in an engineering discipline Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Project Information Delivery: Experience in delivering project information in accordance with BIM standards.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in using Civil 3D or Revit, with experience validating and coordinating models in Navisworks or similar software (minimum 5 years of experience).
- Common Data Environment Experience: Experience working in a Common Data Environment such as ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar.
