We are seeking a dynamic and experienced marketer to join our regional strategic marketing team. This pivotal role will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that drive growth, elevate brand presence, and support high-impact initiatives across the energy sector in Europe and India. You will play a key role in identifying and activating growth opportunities, leading sector brand campaigns and flagship regional events, and supporting operational excellence and performance tracking. This is a high-visibility role requiring strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on campaign delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic marketing & growth activation: Lead the design and execution of strategic marketing campaigns aligned with business strategy priorities. Collaborate with Strategic Marketing Lead to identify and activate high-potential growth opportunities. Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new services and offerings. Use SOSTAC or similar frameworks to structure campaign planning and execution. Advocate for a client-centric and outside-in perspective throughout the team and among business stakeholders.
- Brand campaigns & high-impact events: Lead the planning and delivery of high-investment, cross-business brand events and related campaign activities. Oversee event strategy, logistics, content, and post-event engagement to ensure maximum ROI. Partner with the content, creative, communications and digital teams to deliver integrated and compelling, multi-channel campaigns. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Client Account Managers, Sector Leaders, and wider MarComms teams within region and globally. Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders on marketing best practices and brand positioning. Ensure alignment of regional marketing activities with global brand and messaging strategies.
- Marketing operations & performance: Support in managing marketing operations, including budget tracking, reporting, and governance. Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools; optimize based on insights. Contribute to monthly marketing dashboards and ROI reporting for senior leadership. Support the development and implementation of marketing processes and approval workflows.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing roles within a B2B environment or similar.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated success in developing and implementing high-impact marketing strategies that drive growth in complex, competitive markets.
- Global Perspective: Ability to align regional strategies with global goals.
- Client-Centric Mindset: Strong client engagement skills, with experience in building marketing initiatives that strengthen client relationships and drive sales.
- Leadership and Influence: Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of working with diverse, geographically dispersed teams, alongside extensive experience collaborating with large groups of technical specialists.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data analytics tools to track marketing performance, with a strong focus on optimizing for ROI and results.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
