Working within the B+P Building Engineering Business Unit (UK&I), the Operating Unit Administrator supports the MEP, Structures, Civils, Sustainability and Specialisms operating units. The role works closely with unit leaders to maintain accurate sources of revenue data, support bid opportunities up to $500k NSR, and deliver efficient administrative support to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date sources of revenue data, ensuring alignment with reporting and forecasting requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for opportunity logging and updates, recording opportunities consistently and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Performance Manager and Capture Manager to support continuous improvement in opportunity management.
- Monitor and maintain the quality and accuracy of revenue data through regular communication with PMs, Capture Managers, Performance Managers and OULs.
- Support bid and pursuit activities up to $500k NSR by preparing high‑quality submission materials, following established templates, processes, and quality standards.
- Ensure bid content, CVs, and case studies are correctly formatted, version controlled, and compliant with internal requirements.
- Source and update company information and collateral from previous bids.
- Assist leaders with travel bookings and expense processing, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Raise purchase order requests via Coupa, ensuring correct coding, approvals and supporting documentation.
Qualifications
- GCSE in English and Maths.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Working knowledge of InDesign or a PDF editor desirable.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a collaborative approach.
- Basic understanding of bid management principles and processes.
- Experience with Salesforce and Coupa preferred.
