We are seeking a dynamic and analytical consultant to join our economics advisory team. You will play a key role in managing projects, supporting the winning of new work, and developing our people ensuring we continue to deliver consultancy support to the highest levels of client satisfaction. The role would be focused on developing opportunities within the following business areas: economic strategy, feasibility studies, investment plans, business case development, financial modelling and real estate analysis. The role would involve working on both UK and international projects.
This Associate Director role will sit within the Economics & Economics Development (EED) Team as part of AECOM’s Advisory business. The EED Team works across a range of business sectors including energy, nuclear, transport, water, residential, commercial and regeneration. As well as working on major UK infrastructure projects such as High Speed Two and Great Grid Upgrade, we are supporting all tiers of UK government with their future growth plans. We also work with international governments and developers, including the Ministry of Economy and Planning in the KSA, Dubai Holding, and Dubai Future Foundation.
Key Responsibilities- Subject matter expert and project management in the work areas referenced above
- Leading on bid writing
- Managing day to day client relationships
- Building client relationships internally and externally with the aim of generating future business

Experience: A proven track record in some/all of the following areas: economic strategy, feasibility studies, investment plans, business case development, financial modelling, and real estate analysis. An interest in working on international projects is welcomed.
Client relationships: An awareness of how to work with clients in a range of situations and assume a client-facing role on projects.
Analysis & problem-solving: Experienced economists who can deliver robust outcomes for clients using a range of techniques.
Project management: Ability to lead and organise teams to deliver analysis and reporting for our projects.
